Hi! I'm Jeremy Arnold... pleased to meet you!

Fact: I love God, natural light, KU basketball and my wonderful wife
(not necessarily in that order).

Fact: I have the best job in the world. You’ll be paying me to have fun.
That may sound sketchy, but it’s not. I just love what I do. ;)

Fact: My clients are amazing and I treat them that way.
I will not add stress to your wedding day.

Fact: I am a SUPER non-traditional photographer with
a fashion-driven style.

Fact: If you have a quarter the amount of fun I have on your
wedding day, you will get amazing images.

I love creating images that make my clients say “wow!”

When you look back on your images in 30 years, you will want to show your kids images that you will still be proud of. You will want to show your kids who you REALLY were when you got married.  My goal when I shoot weddings is to take photos that you will not only be proud of, but that will capture who you really are as a couple. That way, when you show someone your photos in 30 years, they won’t just see a cheesy pose; they will see real memories with real people and a real love for one another.

Rosemarie and Phil – Married!

I was honored to help a friend out that was in a little bind.  Heather Cole was supposed to shoot Ro and Phil’s wedding, but then she had the amazing blessing of getting pregnant!  She realized that she was going to be due right around the time of Ro and Phil’s wedding, so she asked a few friends to help her out.  Josh, Kassia, Aaron and myself all showed up this past Saturday to help a friend out and to shoot an awesome couple and wedding.  I am so glad that I was able to be there for a friend and shoot a fun couple and an amazing wedding in the process. :D Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

It was an Italian wedding…

pre-wedding toast…

the church was AMAZING…

the reception….baller.

yes that is the father, daughter dance and yes those are tears. ;)

Ryan and Jill – Married!

Everything about Ryan and Jill’s wedding was just a lot of fun. To start off, it was in the high 70’s in NOVEMBER! They had a 50’s-ish theme going on which I thought was super creative! Jill is actually a fashion designer and designed and made her own wedding gown. Not only did she make her own gown, but she also hand stitched the programs and made all of the little accessories as well. I was amazed at everything Ryan and Jill did to make all of this happen. Anyways…here are some of my favorite shots/moments from the day!

Jessica Walker did an amazing job with the hair and make up!

Ryan was feeling a bit under the weather to start the day, so naturally he played his guitar… :D

Jill’s dress designed by….Jill!

To top off the dress, she had to rock the Christian Lou Boutin’s.

The dudes went with the Chuck Taylor’s…

of course they had to roll in the royce…get it…Roll’s Royce? *snort snort*

on the way to Abe and Jakes!

Ceremony time…. Walking in with Dad…

….walking out with husband…

and let the party begin. Thanks to Culinaria for the awesome food at the reception!

Who can find Dustin and Ehren SLACKING!?

No girls in red dresses were harmed during the taking of this photo…

Thanks Ryan and Jill for letting us be a part of such an amazing day!

Kallen and Laura – Engaged!

I have to say a huge THANK YOU to The Parsons for sending Kallen and Laura my way.  Let’s just say this…if there were any client that I would want saving my life if I choked on a jelly bean, it would be Kallen.  Being a fire fighter, Kallen flexed his man muscles and got us hooked up with an awesome fire station off of 47th and Penn.  We were a little uneasy about just walking up to this fire station, but no worries…Laura baked all of the guys some nice little cookies.  On a more serious note, the guys at the fire station were so awesome and it really gave me even more of an appreciation for what they do every day.  I am glad there are people out there that are willing to step up and do what it takes to save lives.  Ok..back to the not serious note.  Kallen and Laura are just a lot of fun to be around.  I hope these images portray the true contrast in their relationship.

Loved Laura’s shoes against these gray rocks with the yellow leaves…

and then it was off to the fire station…I LOVE this image.

These next two images show how goofy Kallen is.  One second, we are doing good…then Kallen goes in for the facial lickage.

Another example of the goofyness…doing good and then Kallen eats a leaf.

We will end up where we took the field trip…

A big thank you to the guys at the fire station.  If you happen to see this, thank you for letting us invade your space for a while and thank you for all you do!

Jeff and Mayya – Engaged!

Although my Jayhawks managed to get demolished Saturday, it was still an amazing fall day to take some pictures. Jeff and Mayya live in Chicago, but have a soft spot in their warm little hearts for Kansas City. I am just glad we were able to get some good weather while they were visiting! I couldn’t have asked for better weather and a more candid couple. I know I say this so often, but it is just so true…I am so blessed to have such amazing clients. Here are a few highlights from their session…

Brian and Allison – Engaged!

I am so stoked to be shooting Brian and Allisons wedding next summer.  I seriously had a blast shooting and hanging out with them on such an amazing evening (tonight).  Brian and Allison, I cannot wait to shoot your wedding.  I know it is going to be so unique and fun!  Ok…here are some images before I have to go pack for Disney World!

They love Topsy’s…

Lolly Pop, anyone?

Photographing Photographers…Josh and Sara!

I must admit, underneath all of my excitement for this shoot, I was a little nervous. Oddly enough, I had never actually photographed another photographer before. It was kind of a scary idea to me. I mean, they know what you should be doing and are watching your every move, right? Well, if that is the case, Josh and Sara sure didn’t make it feel that way. I never imagined it would be so much fun taking pictures of someone who takes pictures for a living. One thing is for sure, they made my job easy! Here are a few from our little session. :D Thanks, Josh and Sara for contacting me to do this. You forced me out of my little shell and showed me how much fun shooting other photogs can be!

Jacob and Alana – Married!!!

I am not sure about you, but I absolutely LOVE fall weather. I love the smell of the crisp air (which is apparent when I sniff the air over and over again like a dog), I love the colors, and I LOVE the insects dying (although it hasn’t happened yet :( ). Anyways…Jacob and Alana couldn’t have had better weather for their wedding on Saturday. Having said that, the weather was just a compliment to how amazing their wedding day was. It was perfect in every way. Jacob and Alana, we had so much fun hanging out with you and your wedding party. You guys are a blast and made our job so enjoyable. Thanks for having us!

Here are a few highlights from their fall wedding…

This flower girl was seriously one of the cutest I have EVER seen…more of her to come.

I LOVE this shot Dustin got of the flower girl getting her hair done…SO STINKING CUTE!

This was one of my favorite moments of the day…

The Ceremony was at the historical Plymouth Congregational Church

Here is another shot Dustin got of the happily MARRIED couple!

The flower girl throwing some leaves…how FALL is that! My view on the left…Dustins view on the right!

First Dance…

Then they let loose!

The only word to describe this next image: INTENSE.

I loved this little Cheese Bar (?) … Always love shooting at Abe and Jakes Landing in Lawrence, KS!

Let’s play a little Where’s Dustin (no…not the videographer)…

Last and DEFINITELY least…Everyone once in a while, I like to go straight HOOD on the dance floor….just can’t control myself. ;)

Steven and Michelle – Married!

Steven and Michelle were sent to me from Jeremy and Ashley Parsons and I couldn’t be more grateful.  I am truly so blessed to be able to shoot weddings such as this one.  Steven and Michelle have such a pure love for one another and it poured out in so many different moments.  Dustin and I had a blast capturing those moments and are honored to be able to freeze those moments so that their loved ones will be able to experience this occasion for a long time to come.  Here are just a few of my favorites from the day!

Venue: Five Oaks Lodge (Tulsa, OK)

Coordinator: Cheryl and Joy

DJ: DJ Dance Entertainment

Michelle was SO nervous/excited to see Steven for the first time.  I love the anticipation in this image.

After their first moment together, they exchanged gifts…it was such an amazing moment to witness.

Another very emotional moment right after they got married…

Now onto the reception but first, here is a random shot of one of the groomsmen and his baby girl!

Steven and Michelle, thank you so much for allowing Dustin and I to witness your amazing wedding.  It was truly an honor getting to see you express your love for one another!

Tyler and Tiffany – Married!

- Tyler and Tiffany a lot of fun.

- Tyler and Tiffany are very laid back.

- Tyler and Tiffany are veddy veddy good looking.

- Their wedding was awesome.

Consider that a poem.

A special THANK YOU to Eric and Neal of Lemon Lime Photography for sending Tyler and Tiffany my way!

Dustin got some good stuff hanging back with Tiffany and her dad before they walked in…

The Ceremony and Reception were at the Stonehaus Farm Winery…I really enjoyed shooting there.

Dustin = Baller.  I like this shot he got of them walking out.

It was awesome working with Kelly and Susan at the reception.  Future Brides, these next few pictures will show you why you want reception lighting at your reception! ;)
